Baby Buffalo Rose Test Knit Basics

This test knit will be hosted on Slack.
Applications will be considered based on your responses, previous test knitting outcomes, portfolio (a regularly maintained Ravelry and/or Instagram profile is required), and level of experience for this given project.
Sugarplum Circus is offering yarn support to test knitters in the form of a discount when ordering Merino Sport for this test. Upon acceptance, testers will be given the exclusive discount code.
Accepted test knitters will be notified on or before July 10, 2022. The test is slated to begin on Monday, July 25, 2022, when a formatted, fully tech-edited pattern will be sent to testers who have completed a gauge swatch.
Baby Buffalo Rose Test Knitter Requirements
Previous experience in knitting garments
Previous experience in test knitting for designers or publications
Previous experience in stranded colorwork knitting
Knowledge of standard swatching for gauge purposes, including colorwork in the round
Knowledge of wet or steam blocking garments to measurements
Ability to learn new techniques and problem-solve independently
Attention to detail when reading patterns, especially with multiple sizes
Ability and willingness to photograph FO in clear, natural lighting for social media sharing purposes

Needle size:
US 4/ 3.5mm (or size needed to obtain gauge), 16-24”/ 40-60cm circular, longer cables as preferred for yoke and body circumference knitting, and small circumference circulars or DPNs for sleeves
US 3/ 3.25mm (or one size smaller than main), 16”/ 40cm circular and small circumference circulars or DPNs for sleeve cuffs
