Kenneth Test Knitting Specs
Kenneth is a sport-weight colorwork cowl. The colorblock background is softened with varied vertical lines of colorwork. The gradient effect is achieved by using that special skein of handspun (not required, but highly recommended!).
Construction is top-down in the round, with gradual increases as you work down to create a wider bottom. The side splits at the bottom are created by steeking! The steek is written as such that you are never working any colorwork flat.
After the sides are steeked, the front and back panels are finished flat separately.
TEST DATES:
July 24, 2023 - September 4, 2023
This test knit will be hosted on Slack.
Testers will be selected from the KC Knitting Co private testing pool, which means you are pre-approved and do not need to submit a formal application. If you indicate interest in testing, then you’re in!
You are NOT required to use Wool & Palette yarn to test. If you choose to, you may take advantage of her 50g sport skeins for C1 (top color). She also has several OOAK sport full skeins that are heavily discounted from regular price!
The test is slated to begin on Monday, July 24th, 2023 when a formatted, fully tech-edited pattern will be sent to testers who have completed a gauge swatch.
