YÚN
This collaboration with Portland, Oregon based Ritual Dyes and Woolfolk Yarn is an ode to home, nature, heritage, and history. Yún (雲) is the Chinese word for cloud, and this versatile cowl reflects the varied shapes, movement, and texture of the skies and clouds that blanket the Pacific Northwest, but also span across the globe to the places of our roots.
Yún is knit flat using mitered triangles, combining stripes and other textural elements to create simple geometric designs, then seamed together. Knit at a loose gauge in Flette’s fluffy bouclé, the resulting fabric is light, airy, and heavenly.
